I build things that think and things that move.
I learn by building. From the early days of Kafka processing billions of events, to real-time ML inside a bank, to robots that have to work in the cold, the systems I understand best are the ones I have built.
I spent eight years at SEB: I architected and led the streaming platform that moved billions of events a day, started the NLP platform, and worked on agentic AI and the future of finance. All of it was bits. Numbers arriving, numbers leaving, nothing in the world any heavier for it.
Now I run AI and robotics at a stealth energy company chasing Nordic energy independence, and I work with a few other stealth ventures adjacent to AI, energy and healthcare. The work is the same instinct with heavier consequences. A bug used to cost a rollback. Now it costs a technician driving two hours.
I operate like a founder wherever I am: when I see a problem worth solving, I bring the right people together, make the case, and ship.
Back in 2018, I helped put real-time machine learning to work inside a bank. That early bet taught me that the model is the start. The real work is getting it into production and keeping it there, and I have loved that part ever since.
What gets me excited is the zero to one phase where nobody knows the answer yet. I like to think through the second and third order effects of a new technology, then build the first version and find out.
Based in Stockholm since 2013, and splitting my life between Stockholm and Lucknow. The Nordics are solving energy. India is solving talent. Physical AI needs both, and I like being in the middle of it. Outside work, I spend time with my kids exploring Swedish forests. Family life has taught me that the best solutions often come during long walks rather than long meetings.
Embodied AI for heavy industry. Perception and autonomy that has to keep working in dust, vibration and bad light.
Leading enterprise-scale AI architecture and preparing workforces for AI-native operating models.
Starting from a blank page, finding the problem worth solving, and building the first version.
Architected and led SEB's streaming platform, moving billions of events a day (Kafka, real-time ML).
Bridging the gap between technical elegance and product adoption. Platforms developers pick up because they save them time.
Agents that touch money need the controls banks already trust: whoever starts a payment never approves it, and every action leaves a trail.
Kafka in 2013. Real-time ML in 2016. NLP and NLU in 2017, speech to text for Swedish in 2018. Agentic AI in 2022. Physical AI now.
